How fitness impacts business performance | Strive Mindset Podcast Episode 2
In the second episode of the Strive Mindset personal development podcast, I share my thoughts on how health and fitness is directly related to business performance. This is again another shorter podcast at around 20 minutes as it is a solo presenter content.
Recently my business had an anniversary, where it turned 9 years old since it was incorporated. Ordinarily we have celebrated each year, but this time it was almost forgotten simply because we have been so busy. However it got me thinking about what the business is like now, and how things were when we first set it up.
One of the big differences is that when we first started, we were working long hours, sometimes 12 hours a day/7 days a week to get the business going and to build momentum. At the time the business took priority over health and fitness; I felt like I was doing the right thing and being a responsible grown up to ensure I was providing for my family. However as my health and fitness took a backseat, my business performance actually suffered as a result. It was only when I got things back on track that I realised how integrated fitness is to business, and this is something that is often overlooked.
