This is the start of a new mini-series of maybe 3-4 episodes covering my weight loss journey over the next 10 weeks.  The reason I’ve chosen 10 weeks isn’t anything special or scientific, it’s just 10 weeks until I go on holiday and I want to make sure I look good poolside!

At the start of filming 2 weeks ago I weighed in at 198 lbs. I’m aiming to lose about 1 lb per week over 10 weeks, so while the end result will hopefully be quite good, I’m only going to do 2 or 3 updates over the 10 week period.  This should have me at a goal weight of around 188 lbs, which while this condition won’t be super ripped or photo shoot ready, I should certainly feel good and comfortable on holiday.

In terms of my training and diet, I’ll let you know what I’m doing in the next episodes. It’s not going to be anything particularly special, although I have a few tricks up my sleeve, but they key to weight loss for me is consistency.  This means adherence to both the training and diet over the 10 weeks.
