So along with running web design and online marketing agency Falkon Digital with me, my wife also has a second photography business called Whitrigg Photography. She specialises in new born and family photoshoots, which is great as it means she practices a lot on our own kids!

This video is a bit of a behind the scenes look into what goes on in a shoot, and shows some of the photos at the end too that were captured on the day.

The shoot took place at a pub in Congleton called the Swettenham Arms; it has a beautiful lavendar field that the kids loved running through. While my wife was busy taking photographs of the kids I filmed everyone, and decided it was quite a nice and interesting video which I’ve shared on Sadie’s Whitrigg Photography YouTube channel. The kids are used to having their photos taken now, especially my daughter who really loves being the centre of attention!

Now for the geeky stuff; the video was filmed on my Panasonic GH5 with a 12-60mm Leica lens at 1080p 50 fps.  This was prior to realising I would be able to edit 4K footage using proxies in Adobe Premiere CC 2017 (see my 4K video test).  There are also a few cheeky drone shots that I took using the DJI Spark, however the shots are very basic as it was all controlled using my mobile prior to investing in the remote controller.

I hope you like it!
